European Intelligent Cash Protection Association, EURICPA represents the European manufacturers of solutions for secure cash transportation by staining technologies.

EURICPA was set up on the 7th of April 2005 on the common initiative of AXYTRANS*, GEHRER, SPINNAKER, SQS and VILLIGER. All are leading European companies specialising in intelligent banknote staining systems.

This technology provides the best solution within the cash-in-transit process for increasing the safety of professionals and the general public’s security.

“The objective of EURICPA is to work together with all interested parties such as Cash-In-Transit, banking, retail and regulators at national and European level. This will promote the best use of the technology. Of particular importance are the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the European Parliament, ESTA and other related organisations with a vested interest. We wish to provide them with expertise and advice on all issues relating  to the introduction of intelligent solutions for better protecting cash in storage and transit.”,
said Mr. Etienne Couelle, EURICPA first Chairman.
